Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.
This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed with a prayer to issue an order or direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Prayagraj to decide the Case No.372 of 2020 (Smt. Meera Pal and others vs. Sri Prithvi Pal) which is pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, District Prayagraj as expeditiously as possible preferably within a short and stipulated period.
Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2020. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case within a period of 60 days from the date of production of a certified copy of this order without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.
