Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for opposite party No.1 & 11 and Mr. Vikram Dutt Pandey Advocate holding brief on behalf of Mr. Pankaj Gupta learned counsel for opposite party No.12. In view of order being passed, notice to opposite parties 2 to 10 stand dispensed with.

Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Board of Revenue to expedite decision in revision No. REV/3061/2015/Pratapgarh (Ganga Prasad versus Markandey and others) which is pending consideration since the year 2015.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that aforesaid proceedings resulting in pendency of aforesaid revision is only with regard to correction of map which are summary proceedings but the aforesaid revision is pending consideration for the past nine years now and therefore expedite orders are required to be passed.

On consideration of submissions advanced and perusal of material on record, particularly the order sheet, it appears that last opportunities are being granted time and again to the parties for filing written statements. The proceedings being summary in nature are pending consideration for the past nine years.

In view thereof, the opposite party No.1 i.e. Chairman, Board of Revenue, U.P., Lucknow is directed to conclude the decision in revision No. REV/3061/2015/Pratapgarh (Ganga Prasad versus Markandey and others) expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is brought on record of proceedings in case there is no other legal impediment.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
