This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed with a prayer to pass an order under supervisory jurisdiction of the Court to direct the learned Court (District & Session Judge, District Azamgarh) to decide the criminal revision no. 131/2023, Mahendra vs. State of U.P. & others, with specific period as per direction of this Court.
Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2023. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case in as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.
