Heard Sri Umesh Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Maria Fatima, learned counsel for the opposite parties. .

By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed following main relief:-

"i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the candidature of petitioner for appointment on the post of Assistant Statistics Officer/ Assistant Research Officer (Statistics), under OBC category for the recruitment year 2019, bearing advertisement No.07-exam/2019, according to her merit."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that for redressal of the aforesaid grievance, the petitioner has preferred representation dated 12.06.2024 before opposite party no.2 (Annexure No.7), which is still pending consideration and the same has not been decided till date, therefore, learned counsel has requested that opposite party no.2 may be directed to dispose of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, with expedition.

Learned counsel for the opposite parties has no objection if direction for disposal of the representation is issued.

Therefore, without entering into merit of the issue, Secretary, U.P. Subordinate Service Selection Commission PICUP Bhawan, III Floor, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow is hereby directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2024, which is contained in Annexure No.7 to the writ petition, strictly in accordance with law, by speaking and reasoned order, with expedition, say within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and thereafter communicate the decision thereof to the petitioner forthwith.

In the aforesaid terms, the writ petition is disposed of finally.
