Heard Sri Raj Deep Gupta, Advocate holding brief of Sri S.N. Singh Gaharwar, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Saharsh Srivastava, the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State and perused the records.

By means of the instant writ petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the parties to pay arrears of pay/pension from the date of revision of pay scale.

Although, the petitioner claims to have submitted a representation dated 07.09.2023 to the opposite party no.3 for this prayer and he claims that no decision has been taken on his representation, there is nothing on record which may establish that the representation has in fact been served upon the opposite party no.3.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation for redressal of his grievances to the opposite party no.3/Superintendent of Police, Anti Corruption Organization,

Police Headquarter Building, Lucknow within a period of one week. In case any such representation is submitted by the petitioner, the opposite party no.3 shall pass a reasoned and speaking order thereon within a period of four weeks thereafter in accordance with law and shall communicate the order to the petitioner.
