In view of the order proposed to be passed by this Court, notice to the private-respondents is dispensed with.

The present petition has been filed for the following main relief:-

"a. issue order or direction to the opposite party no.1 to decide the Restoration application dated 16.10.2023 bearing No.2926 of 2023, in Revision No.607/2018, Computerized Case No.R-2018171400607, Ram Sagar V/s Sadhu Saran and another, under section 210 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 pending before the opposite party no.1 within stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble court, in the interest of justice."

Taking note of the facts as indicated including the submission advanced by learned State Counsel, which is to the effect that revision instituted by the petitioner was dismissed for want of prosecution on 12.07.2023 and thereafter an application for restoration of revision was filed on 18.10.2023, which appears to be filed with some delay, the present petition is disposed of with direction to opposite party no.1/Board of Revenue, Lucknow, to decide the application in issue, quoted in the prayer clause, as per law after taking note of issue relating to delay in filing the application, expeditiously, after affording full opportunity of hearing to the parties, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment, preferably within two months from the next date fixed before it, if there is no other legal impediment in this regard.

It is made clear that the Court has not examined the case of either of the parties on merits and the authority concerned shall be free to decide the matter strictly in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of.
