Heard Shri S. K. Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents and Shri Rameshwar Prasad Shukla, learned counsel for the respondent no.3.

This writ petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of Case No.3360 of 2022 (Badami Devi v. Bujharath) under Section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code-2006 within a stipulated time.

This Court on 16.2.2023 and 28.2.2023 passed the orders calling upon the report from the Sub Divisional Officer explaining the progress of the matter.

The Sub Divisional Officer, Mehnagar, Azamgarh has submitted a report dated 15.03.2023 to the effect that preliminary decree has already been drawn in the said case and 12.04.2023 is the next date fixed for further proceedings.

In view of the fact that preliminary decree has already been prepared and the case is posted for further proceedings towards preparation of final decree, this writ petition is disposed off with the direction to the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mehnagar, Azamgarh to complete further proceedings in pursuance of the its order dated 15.03.2023 within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
