Learned counsel for the petitioners is directed to correct the name of district in the array of parties.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

The present petition has been filed with the following relief:-

"I- Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to provide safety and security to the life and liberty of the petitioners.

II- Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to harass and harm the petitioners."

Contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that both the petitioners are major and are living together in live-in-relationship and also intend to marry after some time. In support of age proof of petitioner No.1, a certificate issued by Principal, South Delhi Nigam Prathibha Girls School, Mahipalpur, New Delhi, has been annexed, showing the date of birth of petitioner No.1 as 10.2.2005. It is further contended that the family members of petitioner No.1 are not happy with the relationship of the petitioners, therefore they are unnecessarily harassing them. For protection of their live-in-relationship, the petitioners have also moved an application dated 9.10.2023 before S.S.P., Bulandshahar.

Considering the aforesaid submission, the petition is disposed of with a direction to S.S.P., Bulandshahar to consider the application of the petitioners dated 9.10.2023 and pass appropriate order for ensuring protection of peaceful living of the petitioners in live-in-relationship, after verifying their age, if there is no legal impediment.

It is further directed that till disposal of the aforesaid application, S.S.P., Bulandshahar will also ensure that peaceful living of the petitioners shall not be interfered by any person.
