Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking that her representation dated 11.10.2018 and 15.10.2018 addressed to the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police, Bareilly (respondent nos.3 & 4) for providing protection to the petitioner and her family members in accordance with law.
Learned Chief Standing Counsel fairly states that in case any such representation is pending, definitely the same would be decided by the concerned authority.
Considering the facts and circumstances, as the matter is pending since 2018, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending. In case petitioner is still having some grievance, she can move an appropriate application/representation before Senior Superintendent of Police, Bareilly and if any such application/representation has been moved before the concerned authority, we hope and trust that the authority concerned would proceed and decide the representation in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of .
