Heard Ms. Shambhavi Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Sai Girdhar, learned counsel for respondent No.1/Bar Council of India and Sri Ashok Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for respondent No.2/University.
The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the following prayer:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.1 to grant approval to the petitioner for 5 years LL.B. course for the session 2022-23 and onwards.
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent no.2 University to allot students to the petitioner college for the session 2022-23 in 5 years LL.B. Course.
(iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent no.1 not to charge fee from the petitioner college for the years 2020-21 and 2021-22 i.e. the years in which the respondent no.1 has not granted approval to the petitioner College for 5 years LL.B. course."
It is argued by Sri Sai Girdhar, learned counsel for respondent No.1 that in this regard, a representation has already been made by the petitioner/College to the Secretary, Bar Council of India/respondent No.1 on 31.12.2022 which was received in his office on 02.01.2023, copy of the same is appended as Anneure No.10 to the writ petition. It is argued that the respondent No.1 will take a decision most expeditiously and positively within a period of three weeks from today.
In view of the undertaking given by Sri Sai Girdhar, learned counsel for respondent No.1, the present petition is disposed of accordingly.
In case, the respondent No.1 will pass any favourable order on the representation of the petitioner in favour of the petitioner, all consequential actions will be taken up forthwith thereafter.
