Present writ petition is filed on behalf of claimant praying that Claim Petition No.187 of 2017 (Sarita Devi & Ors Vs. Surendra Patel & Others) which is pending before the Court of Motor Accident Claim Tribunal Uttari Prayagraj be decided within a stipulated period.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that claim petition is at the stage of hearing after framing of issues.
In view of above submission and that claim petition is pending for the last more than 5 years and also taking note of present status of claim petition, this writ petition is disposed of with direction that Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Uttari Prayagraj will take all endeavour to decide the above referred Claim Petition No.187 of 2017 (Sarita Devi & Ors Vs. Surendra Patel & Others) expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from today.
