1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
2. The petitioner is seeking relief in the nature of injunction against private respondent with respect to certain land.
3. In our view, a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the aforesaid relief is not maintainable.
4. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case of the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed , leaving it open for the petitioner to avail such remedy as may be available to him under law.
