Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Chief Standing Counsel representing the State.
Learned Chief Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions, has informed that the claim stated to be pending in the writ petition has already been rejected by the competent authority vide order dated 10.11.2023 on the ground of limitation. A copy of the said order has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to assail the order passed by the authority concerned.
Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
