Since today there is a call from High Court Bar Association, Allahabad to abstain from judicial work, none appeared on behalf of petitioner.
By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought that Settlement Officer, Consolidation, District-Jaunpur, respondent no.2 be directed to decide the appeal no.412/2022-23 (Bharat Vs. Mohrani & Ors) under section 21(2) of Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953, pending since 22.11.2021 within stipulated period.
This writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Settlement Officer, Consolidation, District-Jaunpur, respondent no.2, that he shall take endeavour to decide the aforesaid appeal expeditiously, in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment.
