Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-State.

The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the following prayer:-

"(i) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent - authorities specifically the respondent nos. 2 & 3 to re-determine the gratuity amount payable to the petitioner and thereafter ensure the payment of the same to the petitioner along with interest."

It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that in this regard, representation has been made by the petitioner before educational authorities on 17.10.2022, copy of which is appended as Annexure No.5 to the writ petition.It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken on the same.

On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel argued that the respondent No.3 will take appropriate decision in the matter expeditiously.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties and without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make a fresh representation ventilating all his grievances along with necessary papers and documents and certified copy of this order before the respondent No.3/District Inspector of Schools, Bareilly within a period of three weeks from today. If such a representation is filed, the respondent No.3 will pass appropriate orders on the same expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months thereafter strictly in accordance with law.
