Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State.

The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter alia with the following prayer:-

"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to direct the respondent no. 2/Secretary, Uttar Pradesh, Madhyamik Shiksha Sewa Chayan Board, Allenganj, Prayagraj to decide the application dated 1110-2022, pending before him, expeditiously, within stipulated period."

It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed an application dated 11.10.2022 but the same is pending till date, no final decision has been taken in the matter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes that the respondent no. 2- Secretary, Uttar Pradesh, Madhyamik Shiksha Sewa Chayan Board, Allenganj, Prayagraj will consider and decide the representation of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

Considering the facts of the present case, without entering into the merit of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 11.10.2022 within a period of three weeks from the date a receipt of a certified copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
