Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

"i. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the post retiral benefits of G.P.F., G.I.S. and other applicable retiral benefits at the earliest within a short stipulated time as to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has retired from the post of Medical Officer on 31st December, 2018. However, till date the retiral dues of GPF and GIS of the petitioner has not been paid. In this respect, the petitioner has filed a representation dated 6th January, 2023 before respondent no.2, which is pending consideration.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that the respondent no.2 will consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 6th January, 2023 in accordance with law in a time bound manner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondent no.2 to consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 6th February, 2023 in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
