With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is being finally decided.

Instant writ petition has been filed praying for a mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that husband of the petitioner Sri Vineet Mishra died in harness in the year 2014. He had already got divorced from his first wife Smt. Adesh Mishra in the year 2010 and thereafter got married with the petitioner. It is also contended that the matter is already engaging the attention of the authorities yet no final orders have been passed till date.

On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions submits that two letters have been sent to the petitioner namely on 28.07.2023 and 05.09.2023 requiring the petitioner to produce certain documents but she has failed to respond the same. Copies of the said letters have been made available to the learned counsel for the petitioner today itself in Court.

Considering that the respondents are already seized of the matter and have required the petitioner to submit certain documents as per the letters dated 28.07.2023 and 05.09.2023, instant writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to respond to the aforesaid letters and complete the formalities. In case the said formalities are completed then it goes without saying that the respondents shall proceed to pass a final order in the case of the petitioner expeditiously.
