Heard Sri Akhilesh Kumar Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Viresh Kumar Gupta, learned AGA for the State and also perused the material available on record.

The instant criminal revision has been filed by the revisionist Uday Bahadur with a prayer to set aside the impugned order dated 12.01.2023 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaunpur in Case No.1651 of 2019 (Asha Devi Vs. Uday Bahadur) u/s 125 Cr.P.C. He has also prayed that the effect and operation of the impugned order dated 12.01.2023 may be stayed till the disposal of present criminal revision.

From the impugned order, it is clear that from the date of application i.e. on 05.10.2019, learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaunpur has quantified Rs.4,000/- to the wife as interim maintenance.

Learned counsel for the revisionist has submitted that the revisionist has no source of income and he is an unemployed person and now facing difficult times.

In order to rationalize the entire scenario, it is directed that the court concerned shall fix affordable monthly or quarterly installments with respect to the arrears of interim maintenance whereby the revisionist shall pay the entire amount of interim maintenance to his wife.

With the aforesaid observations/directions, the present revision stands disposed of.
