Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:-

"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party No.2 to close the history sheet 12-A of 2020 of the petitioner of Police Station Sursa, District Hardoi.

ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to discontinue the history sheet 12-A of 2020 of the petitioner of Police Station Sursa, District - Hardoi and to end the night surveillance and secret ticketing of the house of the petitioner.

iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner."

Learned counsel for the petitioner says that petitioner's application for closure of history sheet is pending before the Superintendent of Police, District - Hardoi, copy of which is annexed as Annexure No. 12 to the writ petition. He says that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to dispose of the said application.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, District- Hardoi to consider and decide the aforesaid application as per law, say, within a period of two months unless there is any legal

impediment in which case he shall inform the same to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ . petition is finally disposed of.
