This petition was filed way back on 24.07.2019 seeking the following relief :

"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to transfer the investigation in respect of Case Crime No.0254 of 2015, under Sections 365, 498A I.P.. and Sections 3/4 D. P. Act, Police Station Haidarganj, District Faizabad to any independent Central Investigating Agency."

According to counter afÏdavit filed by State Authorities, after investigation final report was filed as no evidence was found involving the husband of the victim of having committed any murder as was alleged by the petitioner, who is mother of the victim. However, thereafter when this Court took cognizance of the matter further investigation was ordered, which is still pending.

We see no reason to keep this petition pending. If the petitioner wants transfer of the investigation, he may approach the opposite party no.1 by means of a representation whereupon it shall be considered by opposite party no.1 in accordance with law and a decision be taken within six weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of .
