Learned counsel for both the parties are present.

In this case parties have entered into compromise and settled the dispute amicably.

¶7

As per order of this Court, compromise has been verified by Registrar (J) (Criminal) of this Court 29.10.2022. It is also submitted that Rs.22500/was given to the informant as compensation, as per report of District Magistrate.It has also been refunded and deposited in S.B.I through Challan on 30.8.2023. Original copy of Challan has been filed though second supplementary affidavit is taken on record today.

Since the matter has been resolved amicably between both the parties and compensation amount has also been refunded in the name of Government Treasury. Therefore, it will be no useful purpose to keep the matter pending, as a result the proceedings in Special Trial No. 146 of 2016 are hereby quashed in terms of compromise between the parties.

The court below is directed to take steps accordingly.

The appeal is disposed of finally.
