Appellant-Dularey Pradhan who was on interim bail due to Covid-19 situation has passed away on 17.09.2022 as per the information of Sri Prabha Shanker Pandey, learned counsel.
We abate this appeal at this stage subject to verification by the learned A.G.A about the statement made by Sri Prabha Shanker Pandey, learned counsel for the appellant, if the statement is found incorrect the learned counsel for the State may seek revival of this appeal. He may get the report from the jailor of the concerned jail where Dulare Pradhan was lodged.
We heard Mr Sagir Ahmad, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Sri Ram Govind, learned counsel in Criminal Appeal No. 1668 of 2015. In Criminal Appeal No. 1892 of 2015 both Sri Siddhartha Mishra and Sri Amitabh Tripathi, learned counsels for the appellant have absented themselves.
