Heard Sri Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the accusedapplicant and Sri Ratnendu Kumar Singh, learned A.G.A. for the State.

The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking quashing of the entire proceedings of Session Trial No. 631 of 2022 (State Vs. Satyendra Singh Gangwar and Others), arising out of Case Crime No. 0036 of 2006, under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477A 120B/34 I.P.C. and Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, Police Station Maniyar, District Ballia, pending in the court of Special Judge (Prevention of Corruption Act), Court No. 1, Varanasi, District Varanasi; including the charge sheet No. 08 of 2019 dated 3.08.2019 and cognizance/summoning order dated 27.05.2022 taken by the Special Judge (Prevention of Corruption Act), Court No. 1, Varanasi.

Having considered the material on record and evidence collected during the course of investigation, this Court does not find any ground to interfere with the charge sheet or impugned proceedings.

Thus, the present application being wholly devoid of merit, is hereby rejected .

However, it is provided that if the accused-applicant surrenders before the concerned trial court within seven days from today and applies for bail, his bail application shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
