Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

This application under Section 482 CrPC has been filed with a prayer to quash the entire proceedings of Session Trial No. 07 of 2022 (State Vs. Irshad), arising out of Case Crime No. 139 of 2021, under Sections 354-Ka, 452, 505(3) IPC, Section 8 of POCSO Act and Section 67 of Information Technology Act, Police Station Shivkuti, District Allahabad, within stipulated period.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the applicant has made a statement at the Bar that he does not want to press the prayers made in the application and has submitted that charges in the instant case have been framed against him vide order dated 14.03.2023 and the trial is in progress and as such, the court below be directed to expedite the conclusion of the trial and conclude the same within a stipulated period.

Learned AGA has submitted that he has no objection to the said prayer made by learned counsel for the applicant.

In view of the above, learned court below is expected to make all endeavours to conclude the aforesaid trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in concluding the aforesaid trial.

With the aforesaid direction, this application under Section 482 CrPC is finally disposed of.
