The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to respondent no. 4 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 10.11.2022 to carry out repair and maintenance of House No. D-24/20, Pandey Ghat, Varanasi. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have demolished part of the house of the petitioner. Consequently, the remaining part requires repair and maintenance. In respect thereof, the application aforesaid has been filed.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Varanasi Development Authority has no objection in case the Court directs the Authority to decide the application.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 3 to decide the application dated 10.11.2022 by means of a speaking order within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order, along with photocopy of the application.
