The petitioner is a promoter of a housing colony. To ensure that internal development takes place in the colony, certain land was mortgaged by the petitioner in favour of the Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority. The case of the petitioner is that all development work is complete, but still the mortgaged plots have not been released from mortgage by the Development Authority.

Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the petitioner had already represented in this regard before the Development Authority on 25.8.2020 and prays that the same be directed to be decided.

Sri D.S. Chauhan, learned counsel appearing for the Development Authority, does not oppose the said prayer.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of with direction to the Vice Chairman, Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority, to decide the application of the petitioner dated 25.8.2020 by means of a speaking order within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order, along with photocopy of the representation.

The order has been passed in the presence of Sri Harsh Vardhan Gupta, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 3.
