Learned Standing Counsel has obtained written instructions in this matter as per which the vehicle of the petitioner was seized on account of unauthorised transportation of minerals, the petitioner had accepted commission of the offence and has applied for compounding whereupon an order has also been passed on 21.10.2022 requiring the petitioner to deposit Rs.76000/- to enable release of the vehicle.
In view of the aforesaid facts, learned counsel for the petitioner prays to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh petition, if required, after disclosing full facts.
Consequently the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
The written instruction provided by the learned Standing Counsel shall be retained on record.
