Today, the Advocates are abstaining from work, though learned Standing Counsel for State-respondent is present.
The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the following prayer:-
"(a) a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, commanding the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal (4), Agra/respondent no.1 to expeditiously decide the Adj. Case No.08 of 2015 (Distillery Employees Union, Rampur v. M/s Radico Khetan Limited and others), within a period of time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court."
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No.1 to consider and decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order but certainly after giving opportunity to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no legal impediment.
