Heard Sri Manoj Kumar Chaudhary, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Hem Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the University.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused the record, it is not disputed that the death of the petitioner's father Gulzari Lal which took place on 7.4.2015. The application claiming compassionate appointment was filed on 22.9.2017.
That application has been rejected by the University primarily considering the factor, namely, the petitioner was not found wholly dependent on the deceased and in any case his mother (Smt. Premwati) is a permanent employee of B.H.U.
The fact of engagement of the petitioner's mother as a permanent employee of the University, is undisputed.
No error is found in the impugned order. The writ petition lacks merit. It is accordingly dismissed.
