The present petition was filed claiming to be in public interest more than a decade back seeking a direction to the respondent-authorities to stop distribution of LPG and cancel the distributorship of respondent no. 4 at village Jasrana, District Firozabad. It was listed only once on January 4, 2012 and thereafter, the same has not been pursued by the petitioner. On that day, the statement of learned counsel for the respondents was recorded that it is the duty of the licensee to obtain all requisite permission.
Be that as it may, the petition filed to challenge the licence granted to an individual cannot be treated to be filed in larger public interest.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
However, with the liberty to the petitioner to get the same revived in case any cause still survives.
