This special appeal challenges an order dated 29th November, 2005 whereby while allowing the writ petition the appellants were directed to pay interest at the rate of 10% per annum which may accrue on the post retiral amount to be paid to the respondent from the date of his retirement i.e, 31st August to actual date of payment. Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that the respondent has died about 10 years ago and no one has contacted him since then.
In all likelihood by passage of time this special appeal has been rendered infructuous which is dismissed as such.
