Present habeas corpus writ petition has been filed alleging therein that corpus Ganga Devi has illegally been detained by her father- respondent no.4.
Pursuant to the order dated 11.03.2022 passed by this Court, corpus Ganga Devi has been produced before this Court by Lady Constable 1642 Arti and SO Pradeep Kumar Singh (P.N.O. 942290544), Alhajganj, Shahjahanpur.
On being questioned, she has categorically stated that she has not been illegally detained by her father- respondent no.4 as alleged and is leading a happy life.
In view of the statement made, this habeas corpus writ petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
