Heard learned A.G.A. for the State/appellant. Perused the record.
Instant Government Appeal has been filed against the judgment and order dated 15.03.2002 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 7, Bulandshahar in Sessions Trial No. 695 of 1999.
The C.J.M, Aligarh, vide his letter dated 29.01.2022, has informed this Court that sole respondent of the present government appeal namely, Rakesh, has died. In verification of his death, statements of Gram Panchayat Barka, Sri Bhagat Singh (nephew of respondent), Sri Ranvir Singh (elder brother of respondent) and Sri Amit Kumar, Sub Inspector of Police Station Khair, District Aligarh have been recorded and placed on record.
In view of the above, since the sole appellant of this appeal has already been expired, this criminal appeal is dismissed as having been abated.
