Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGA.

The present habeas corpus writ petition has been filed with prayer for issuing a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents and directing them to produce Sagar and Palak before this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this Court vide order dated 28.03.2022 directed the SSP Prayagraj to procure the attendance of respondent nos. 2, 3 alongwith all 4 daughters and his baby son and produced the girls before this Court on 25.04.2022; in pursuance of order of this Court dated 25.04.2022, both the parties along with kids were present before the Court and the Court after conversation with the parties, had referred the matter to the Mediation Centre of this Court, wherein, this Court has been pleased to direct both the parties to appear before the Mediation Centre of this Court on 13.05.2022.

The mediation has been successful with appreciable efforts of the mediators and parties have decided to reunite and live together as husband and wife in perfect harmony forgetting all previous disputes and differences and they undertook to discharge all matrimonial obligations towards each other in respectful manner and undertake not to commit any kind of cruelty against each other in any manner whatsoever and respondent no. 3 has given undertaking to care of his wife and children and provide all essential requirements and amenities to them in future; the settlement agreement has been signed by the contesting parties, petitioner no. 3 and respondent no. 3 alongwith mediators in presence of learned counsel for the parties; settlement agreement is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners requested for to decide case in the light of mediation between the parties being succeeded. No objection has been raised from side of the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material on record as controversy between the parties has been resolved by way of mediation, this petition is liable to be disposed.

Therefore, the instant habeas corpus petition is disposed of in terms of settlement agreement reached between the parties by way of Mediation Centre, High Court.
