As per report received from the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Shahjahanpur, the sole appellant Rakesh Singh has died about five years ago. Learned Magistrate has annexed written statement of the Pradhan of his village and that of his son, Deepak Singh in this regard. A copy of the death certificate of Rakesh Singh has also been filed.
No one has applied on behalf of appellant to pursue this criminal appeal.
Accordingly, appeal stands abated in respect of sole appellant Rakesh Singh.
Since the appeal against the appellant has abated, the present criminal appeal is disposed of.
