Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the respondent.

By means of this application under Section 482 Cr.P.c. the applicant is seeking a direction to the Special Judge (POCSO Act), Allahabad to expedite the hearing of Session Trial No. 167 jof 2019 (State Vs. Anish and others) Crime No. 776/18 under Sections 363, 366, 376-D, 342, 306, 120-B, 506 I.P.C. and Section 5/6 POCSO Act, Police Station Soraon District Allahabad, in a time bound manner.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the applicant that the trial is pending before the lower court since 2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the applicant's case, this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of with a direction to the Special Judge (POCSO Act), Allahabad to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
