Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
The only prayer made by the applicants is that a direction be issued to the Judicial Magistrate, Ist, Jaunpur to decide the case no.4469 of 2015, State Vs. Ajay Kumar and others, case crime no. 12 of 1994, under Sections 323, 504, 427, 506, 336 I.P.C. arising out of N.C.R. No. 22/94, Police Station Kerakat District Jaunpur within a stipulated period.
It is argued that N.C.R. is of the year 1994 wherein the chargesheet was filed on 18.2.1994. Charge is said to have been framed on 11.11.2005 and since then the case is fixed for evidence.
Considering the facts of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the applicants' case, this application under section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of with a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Ist, Jaunpur to decide the case no. 4469 of 2015, State Vs. Ajay Kumar and others, case crime no. 12 of 1994, under Sections 323, 504, 427, 506, 336 I.P.C. arising out of N.C.R. No. 22/94, Police Station Kerakat District Jaunpur in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
