Heard learned counsel for applicant and learned A.G.A. for State.

This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to direct the Special Judge SC/ST Act, Ghaziabad, to decide the Case No. 46 of 2017 (Old Case No. 1193 of 2002 Jagroshni Vs. Harjeet Singh and others), under Sections 504, 506 IPC and Section 3 (1) 10 SC/ST Act, P.S.- Loni, DistrictGhaziabad, within stipulated period.

It is submitted that initially the case is pending since 2002. The applicant is Sub-Inspector of the police department. It is further submitted that no witness has been examined and progress of the case is very slow.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the material on record, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending which is finally disposed off with a direction to court below to consider and decide the Case No. 46 of 2017 (Old Case No. 1193 of 2002 (Jagroshni Vs. Harjeet Singh and others), under Sections 504, 506 IPC and Section 3 (1) 10 SC/ST Act, P.S.- Loni, District- Ghaziabad, strictly in accordance with law after hearing the parties and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either the parties, expeditiously preferably within one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.

With the aforesaid direction, the instant application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of.
