The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a direction directing the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Kanpur Nagar to decide Suit No.2987/2019 pending in the Court of Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Kanpur Nagar.
The Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Kanpur Nagar is directed to decide the aforesaid Suit No.2987/2019 expeditiously preferably within a period of one year from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid suit.
It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
