Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that in the Original Suit No. 692 of 2002 (new no. 310 of 2015 Rahuveer Singh and others vs. Babu Singh and others) issues have been framed on 21.7.2012.
Learned counsel for the petitioners states that for one reason or the other the suit has remained pending till date.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case and without issuing notices to the respondents, a direction is being issued that if there are any miscellaneous applications pending in the suit then the same may be decided within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order and, thereafter, the Original Suit being Original Suit No.692 of 2002 (new no. 310 of 2015 Rahuveer Singh and others vs. Babu Singh and others) be decided after hearing the parties within a period of six months.
With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
It is made clear that adjournment be granted only under very pressing circumstances. If any adjournment is granted the same shall be granted on the imposition of a cost of Rs. 2,000/- on the party seeking adjournment.
