Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Devendra Mohan Shukla, learned counsel for Respondent Nos.2 & 3 and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner being a minor has filed present writ petition through his mother against the inaction on the part of Respondent Nos.2 and 3, who is sitting over the application preferred by the mother of the petitioner for correction in the name of the father of the petitioner in the marks-sheet of Secondary School Examination, 2021 in the academic year 2021 bearing Roll No.23146913 and appeared Class XI and XII with Registration No.R/2/23/70106/0003.

After arguing at length, at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 may be directed to decide the representation made by the mother of the petitioner for correction in the name of his father within stipulated period as this Court may deem fit and proper.

Learned counsel for the Respondents has no objection on the aforesaid prayer.

Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and without intering into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of finally with direction to the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 to take decision on the representation of the mother of the petitioner which has been preferred for correction in the name of the father of the petitioner in the marks-sheet of Secondary School Examination, 2021 in the academic year 2021 bearing Roll No.23146913 within a period of two months in accordance with law, from the date of certified copy of this order is served.
