Heard Shri S.C. Mishra, learned Counsel for the State and learned Additional C.S.C. for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed for directing the opposite parties to take decision on the representations.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that an open meeting was held on 17.08.2022 for selection of a candidate for allotment of Fair Price Shop in which irregularities and illegalities were committed against which the petitioner has made a representation which is pending.

On the other hand, learned State Counsel has submitted that the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed as per their own averment in the writ petition. In Paragraph 8, the petitioner has made an averment that the meeting on 17.08.2022 was cancelled and an inquiry was conducted by the authorities concerned. On 26.08.2022, another meeting was held so the petitioner has no grievance.

At this stage, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition as dismissed as not pressed.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
