The case is taken up through video conferencing as the Court is working through virtual mode.

Heard Shri Vinay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Dr. Krishna Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the sole respondent and perused the record.

By filing the instant writ petition, the petitioner has requested to issue an order or direction directing the respondent i.e. Additional Commissioner (Administration), Faizabad Region, Faizabad to expeditiously decide the Appeal No.1408 of 2020, Computerized Case No.C202004000001408, Triyugi Vs. Gaon Sabha and Others within the time stipulated by this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 27.10.2010 passed by the Board of Revenue, Lucknow, the revision was disposed of on the terms that the order dated 13.06.2016 passed by the Additional Commissioner (Administration), Faizabad Region, Faizabad was set aside and the matter was remanded back for afresh consideration on the points mentioned in Para 3.1 to 3.4 of the judgement, however, since then the matter is pending before the respondent and no progress has been made. It is thus requested that a suitable direction by given to the respondent to expeditiously dispose of proceedings pending before him.

Learned Standing Counsel fairly submits that he would not be having any objection if any direction pertaining to expeditious disposal of the case pending before the respondent is issued.

Thus, having regard to all the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent i.e. Additional Commissioner (Administration), Faizabad Region, Faizabad to consider and finally decide the above mentioned case, most expeditiously without granting unnecessary adjournments to either parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date an authenticated copy of

this order is placed before the authority concerned, strictly in accordance with law, subject to the cooperation by the parties.

It is made clear that this Court has not considered the merits of the case.

In view of the recent surge in Covid-19 cases and having regard to the fact that the Court is working virtually, it is directed that the parties may file a computer generated copy of this order, which may be downloaded from the official website of this Court, after self attesting it by learned counsel for the petitioner before the authority concerned. The concerned court/authority/official shall be further under duty to verify the authenticity of the computerized copy of the order so filed by the parties from the official website of this Court and shall make a declaration in writing that the same has been verified.
