The challenge in the present writ petition is to the award dated December 12, 2018 passed by the Land Acquisition Officer on an application filed by the petitioner under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. Vide aforesaid award, the application of the petitioner was rejected.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail of the alternative remedy for claiming the relief prayed for in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as prayed for.
