Heard counsel for the petitioners and learned standing counsel. Perused the record.

The matter pertains to correction of the voter list in which name of petitioners alongwith other villagers have not been included in the voter list.

After hearing submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of record, in our view, since mistake has been committed in preparation of the voter list by the respondents themselves, it is their duty to correct the voter list and if it is found that the name of the petitioners is not included in the voter list, the same may be corrected accordingly.

In view of the aforesaid, petitioners are to file copy of this order within a week from today along with application (Form-2A) before S.D.M./ Electoral Registration Officer concerned for inclusion of his name in the voter list and in case his claim is liable to be accepted, the S.D.M./ Electoral Registration Officer concerned is directed to correct the voter list in question within three days after receipt of such application.

With the above observations, the present petition stands finally disposed of .

The party shall file computer generated copy of such order downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad, self attested by the petitioner alongwith a self attested identity proof of the said person (preferably Aadhar Card) mentioning the mobile number to which the said Aadhar Card is linked.

The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.
