Heard Sri Rajesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2 and Sri B.K. Tripathi, learned counsel for respondent no. 7. Notice need not to be issued to respondent nos. 3 to 6, at this stage.

This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:-

"(i) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the restoration application dated 10.07.2020 filed in Revision No. 64 of 2013 (Ram Uday and Ors. vs. Kamlawati Devi and Ors.) filed under Section 219 land and Revenue Act, pending before the Additional Commissioner (Administration) Varanasi Mandal Varanasi."

It is contended that restoration application is pending in revision filed under Section 219 of the L.R. Act by the petitioner. The sole prayer is for early disposal of the same.

Learned Standing Counsel does not oppose the limited prayer so made for early disposal of the application.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, with the consent of the parties, the matter is being disposed of at this stage without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the restoration application, if there is no legal impediment and after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law by reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this order, downloaded from the official website of Allahabad High Court.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
