From the perusal of record, it transpires that initially license of fair price shop was allotted in favour of one Triloki Singh who unfortunately died on 18.10.2020. After his death, petitioner had moved for the allotment of fair price shop license. The District Magistrate forwarded the representation of the petitioner to Sub-Divisional Magistrate, respondent no. 2 who on the application of daughter of Late Triloki Singh had allotted the license of the fair price shop in question on the basis of Government Order.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State submitted that there was no illegality in the allotment made by respondent no. 2.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and from perusal of record, I find that the petitioners have not made out any case for the cancellation of the license allotted in favour of respondent no. 5.
The writ petition is devoid of merits and is hereby dismissed.
