Issue raised in the present petition is that possession of a portion of the land was taken by the State. However, till date, no compensation has been paid. As there were numerous cases being filed before this Court raising similar issue, the State had constituted a Committee vide Government Order dated May 12, 2016.
Let the petitioner/s also file representation before the Committee in terms of the order dated November 2, 2021 passed by this Court in Writ C No. 25425 of 2021 (Ram Kailash Nishad Vs. State of U.P. and others) in which direction has been issued to the authority concerned to dispose of all pending applications upto February 18, 2022.
Considering the aforesaid fact, no further direction is required to be issued in this case, except that the authority concerned shall abide by the directions already issued and it shall dispose of all the applications including the one already filed or to be filed by the petitioner/s.
The writ petition is disposed of.
The Registry to provide a copy of this order to the petitioner/s.
