Today when the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed a notice before this Court, which has been issued by the executing court for enforcement of the award declared on 18.03.2020.
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction for enforcement of the award dated 18.03.2020.
No writ petition lies for enforcement of an award and only remedy for the petitioner is to apply for execution of the award. As the learned counsel himself admits that execution proceedings are pending, writ petition is not maintainable.
Writ petition is dismissed, accordingly.
